Description
Extract with information about work carried out by the British Red Cross County of London Branch during 1948. Amongst their other duties, the Branch organised and staffed a sick bay for female competitors at the 1948 Olympic Games in London. This was located at 55 Eccleston Square from 24 July to 20 August. They were assisted by members from Staffordshire and Hertfordshire Branch for one week.
