Letter from [? Lord] Roberts Englemere, Ascot, Berks to Major E S Curtis, giving apologies for being unable to accept an Invitation to speak at Public Meeting 28 October 1911

Production date
1911

Description
Letter stating the following 'Dear Curtis, I wish I could show my appreciation of the work done in Huntingdonshire by yourself, Miss Edith Hillard, and the other Honorary helpers, by accepting the invitation of the Committee to visit Huntingdon in January and to address the County Branch and the General Public, but with much regret I must plead my inability to do this. I have already so many unfulfilled engagements in all parts of the country that until some of them are worked off I cannot undertake any others.'
