Diary of activities recorded by Janet Garrood, Commandant at Whitehall Convalescent Hospital in Sawtry, near Peterborough. A note on the inside front cover states 'This book to go to the County Director of Hunting Red X' and several photographs of convalescing soldiers and VADs are pasted inside the diary.

(8) account titled 'Life in a Military Hospital' written by L/C W H Splevins, 1st Bedfords, a patient at the General Eastern Hospital Cambridge during the First World War, no date

(9) letter sent to Mrs Garrood by the Secretary of the Joint County Committee of the Joint War Organisation in Huntingdon, regarding a visit by HRH The Princess Royal, dated 4 Nov 1943

(10) Joint War Organisation certificate awarded to Mrs Garrood for service rendered during 1939-1945

(11) letter from the Huntingdonshire Branch to Mrs Garrood regarding her resignation as District Representative of Huntingdonshire Red Cross for Alconbury and district, dated 16 Feb 1954

(12) letter sent to Mrs Garrood by the Secretary General of the British Red Cross Society upon her appointment as an Honorary Life Member, dated 22 Mar 1954
