Minute book that contains signed minutes of the Cheshire branch County Committee meetings held from 10 Apr 1930 to 24 Oct 1947. At least one meeting was held every year, apart from in 1944 when no meetings were held. Contents include regular reports on finances, competitions, divisions, detachments, Manor Hill Pensions Hospital, and emergency help funds. As this minute book covers the period of the Second World War, it contains reports on the Prisoner of War fund, air raid precautions and post war reconstruction.
Also included is a loose letter from [unknown] Shepard to Miss Keeworthy dated 6 March 1935. It says that her mother, who will be attending the meeting, has been unwell and aged a good deal in the last 6 or 7 weeks, so would Miss Keeworthy please keep an eye on her.
