File contains a small notebook with accounts for the sale of hospital furniture from the Voluntary Aid Detachment Hospital at the Miller Institute, Barnstaple, dated 21 Mar 1921, and two letters sent by the Barnstaple War Supply Depot to the Commandant of the hospital, giving thanks for gifts donated by the Red Cross Society, dated 7 Feb-19 Feb 1919. Items including pyjamas, mufflers, night shirts, pants, helmets and mittens were sent to Serbian refugees and soldiers in France.
