File contains returns made by the commandants of both men's and women's detachments which were then registered at the British Red Cross Society headquarters. The returns contain details regarding the registered number and location of the detachment, the name of the commandant, the numbers enrolled at the detachment and the numbers possessing certificates. File also contains applications for the registration of new detachments.
