This file consists of three labelled bundles of correspondence and related documentation regarding the British Red Cross Society's work with the Danish Red Cross Society.
The labelled bundles are: 'British Children - Treatment in Danish Sanatorium', (1956-1957); 'Centenary Exhibition, Material for', (22 Dec 1975-09 Mar 1976); 'Commemorative Plate', (05 May 1976-27 May 1976).
The bundle labelled, 'British Children - Treatment in Danish Sanatorium', includes material relating to the treatment of British children suffering from Tuberculosis and chest complaints. The British Red Cross Society, Danish Red Cross Society and the Anglo-Danish Society worked together to send British children to the Vordinborg Sanatorium in Denmark for treatment.
Also included are a set of notes giving an overview of the contents of the file.
