This file consists of correspondence and related documentation regarding the British Red Cross Society's assistance with relief work following an earthquake in Libya in 1963. Correspondence is concerned with aid provided by the British Red Cross Society to help victims of the earthquake. It also includes correspondence concerned with the use of funds to help the Libyan Red Crescent build a hospital in the small town of Barca, which was badly affected by the earthquake in 1963.
