This file consists of correspondence and related documentation regarding the British Red Cross Society's assistance with relief work in Nigeria and the secessionist state of Biafra during the Nigerian Civil War/Nigerian-Biafran War (1967-1970). Documentation includes press cuttings, and reports by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the League of Red Cross Societies (LORCS) regarding the situation in Nigeria during the conflict, and relief work.
