This file consists of correspondence and enclosures relating to a proposed 'Workshop on the Planning of a Regional Training Course in Management for Social Welfare Administrators' which was to take place in Manchester from 18-21 April 1977. The conference was proposed as part of the United Nations activities scheduled for 1977. The enclosures include a copy of a United Nations circular entitled, 'European Social Development Programme, Geneva and European Centre for Social Welfare Training and Research, Vienna', 14 December 1976. The proposed workshop in Manchester was cancelled.
