Some of the main events during 1925 were: the death of Queen Alexandra the president of the British Red Cross; the dissolution of the Welsh Central Council Branch; presentation by Sir Arthur Stanley of a challenge shield to be competed for by detachments; and a permanent home for students attending international courses in public health nursing to be in London with the British Red Cross providing the lease in Manchester Square.
