Description
British Red Cross 'Weekly Silver Collection in Aid of the Compassionate Fund' collecting tin for Surrey Red Cross. Tin is a small oval shape with a red top and resembles a post box with the slot for coins at the front. The label on the tin displays the emblem and has written 'British [emblem] Society / Surrey / Weekly Silver Collection / in aid of the / Compassionate Fund'. Tin was formerly owned by Miss V Read, Cranleigh.
