Sweatshirt. White sweatshirt with "Red Cross Youth" on the front and "British Red Cross Caring for people in crisis" on the back. The Red Cross emblem is displayed front and back.

History
Diana, Princess of Wales became patron of Red Cross Youth in 1983 and went on to become Vice President of the British Red Cross in 1993. In 1995, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) launched its ‘Landmines must be stopped’ campaign and this resulted in the now famous trip by the Princess to Angola in January 1997 with the British Red Cross.
The funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales took place in Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 September 1997. 500 people representing charities that the Princess had been involved with joined the procession of her coffin to the Abbey. The owner of this sweatshirt was one of those who took part.
