Description
Plaque presented to The British Red Cross Society in recognition of assistance after the Mount Pinatubo eruption, 1991. Stone and brass plaque features the emblem of the Philippine National Red Cross Society, an engraving of a volcanic eruption and the words, 'Plaque of Appreciation presented to The British Red Cross Society in grateful recognition of assistance rendered in favor of the hapless victims of the Mount Pinatubo eruption on 12 June 1991. Given this 29th day of November 1991 at Budapest, Hungary'. The plaque is rested on a piece of foam within a cardboard box covered in grey plastic and has an associated wooden display mount.
