Description
Large competition cup on black plastic base. The cup has two handles and a lid. The cup is engraved with a figure of a woman kneeling beside a wounded man, she looks over to a horse-drawn ambulance with a red cross on the side. An inscription reads: 'This Cup is presented by Mrs Lynn Thomas, Cardiff, for Annual Competition amongst Women's Voluntary Aid Detachments of the Glamorgan Branch of the British Red Cross Society'. The base has 25 small shields attached with the names of various detachments. There are the remains of a paper label on the bottom of the base.
