Contains information on the activities of the branch during that year, including: finance; the Services Hospital Sub-Committee; the Diversional Therapy Sub-Committee; hospital dressings, contributions to the Festival of Britain, British Red Cross Society exhibition; nursing scholarships for colonial nurses; gifts of toys for physically disabled children; prisoner of war food parcels; and the visit of Miss Whittington (British Red Cross Director of overseas branches).
