Description
Mia chose to feature some inspirational phrases on her patch for the EmpowHER quilt, but she also decided to keep the design relatively simple to allow these to shine. "I wrote these things because I thought they were really powerful sayings about one thing, kindness." Mia included phrases such as 'no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted' and 'treat others how you want to be treated.'
Speaking more about her design, she explained, "I used the shapes, hearts and smiley faces [to show] that it makes you happy when others are happy [and] when you are kind to others and they are kind back. I also didn't add loads because I thought that sometimes the simpleness gives more impact."
