History
Bolton Lads and Girls Club decided to spread kindness with their social action project. Inspired by the British Red Cross' Kindness Calendar, the group decided to make their own version. They shared this on social media to encourage others to do the same. The calendar featured kind acts such as 'compliment someone', 'say hi to a neighbour' and 'help somebody elderly'.
The group also wrote messages to thank the emergency services and filled shoeboxes with items for homeless people.
