Description
Millie created this patch online, as many of the sessions towards the end of the EmpowHER programme were online in 2020 and 2021. "We were on Zoom and got to suggest words and items for someone to stick on so that we made a group patch together." Millie chose the word 'creative', as she enjoyed creative activities the most while participating in the EmpowHER programme.

Millie was part of the youth group from Essex Youth Service. She first got involved with the EmpowHER programme through her Key Worker. Millie took part in many activities, such as decorating mugs and coasters and donating toys to SNAP, an Essex-based charity that supports families with children and young people who have special needs or disabilities. Millie believes she learnt a lot about herself from working on these social action projects.
