Description
British Red Cross mechanical collecting box with roll out model ambulance : 'Push me in - a coin will call me out.' Ambulance appears from garage when coins are placed in slot in roof. Box is white with red writing and ambulance is navy with the emblem hand painted on each side. On the front of the base is written 'Push me in - a coin will call me out' and on both sides 'The Red Cross need your help.' Box is in two sections; the smaller top section with the coin slot is attached to the larger base which houses the runner mechanism for the ambulance.
